First Ever MAC CCO Haul

Let me preface this entry by saying that I am 100% completely aware that I spent way too much money during my recent MAC haul at my local CCO. I can explain (or at least rationalize my decision, haha): this was my first visit to the CCO, I don't plan on going back anytime soon, and yes, my emotions got away with me and I felt a strong, compelling urge to buy everything. Now, I was able to restrain myself from going that far, but nonetheless, I left the store significantly poorer than when I walked in (although the retail therapy was awesome). So without further ado, here are the new items in my MAC stash!

Eye Makeup:

Style Snob Eyeshadow from the Starflash Collection

Meet the Fleet Matte Eyeshadow

Pearlglide Eyeliners in Black Russian and Molasses

Love Connection Mineralize Eyeshadow
(This came as part of a kit -- the mineralize skinfinish and mineralize blush shown below were also in the kit, as was a baby kabuki brush -- I think the 181SE)

Face & Cheeks:

Mineralize Skinfinish in Light Flush

Mineralize Blush in Dainty

Lip Products:

Lustre Lipstick in Pop Circle

Lustre Lipstick in Inner Hue

Dazzleglass Lipglosses in Perfectly Unordinary (pink) and Euro Beat (coral)

Lipglass and Lustreglass glosses in Ensign, Elle, Poetic License, Morning Glory and Cruise Control (These came in a set!)

So, yeah, definitely a lot of stuff, but here's the best part! ALL of this combined was less than $200! If you paid retail for this lot, it would be:

$14.50 per eyeshadow X 2 = $29
$14.50 per pearlglide eyelinder X 2 = $29
$19.50 for mineralize eyeshadow = $19.50
$28 for mineralize skinfinish = $28
$21 for mineralize blush = $21
$14 per lipstick X 2 = $28
$18 per dazzleglass X 2 = $36
$14 per lipglass X 5 = $70

TOTAL without tax: $260.5
I Paid: $161

The moral of this story is thus: if you have a local CCO, you should definitely go there for your makeup purchases. Sure, some of the items may be from discontinued lines, and you may not be able to walk in with a wish list and find everything you are looking for, but if you go in with an open mind you can get some really great deals! Now I'm excited to try all of my new products and let ya'll know what I think of them! See you tomorrow...

  1. Gabby you just went to the cosmetics company store for the first time!?! Lol, girl I wish I'd known, I'd have told you about it two years ago when we met. Been going there since I was a teenager, and you know how bad I am with make-up. ;) -T

  2. Hey Tanya -- yay, I'm glad you checked out my blog! Haha, that's very funny about the CCO. I had no idea it even existed, but I'm totally going to shop there from now on. Why spend full price when you can get stuff for like 30% off? :)
